T.J. Couch, Jr.


T.J. Couch, Jr. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and an Executive M.B.A. from the University of South Florida.


Couch began his professional career at Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry. When Mr. Couch left the museum in 2005 he was the Director of Business Enterprises where he directed all aspects of the IMAX Dome Theatre operations and MOSI’s retail operations. Having a keen interest in the performing and visual arts, Couch served as a creative consultant on numerous film productions by providing his insight into script development, cinemagraphic editing and production release marketing.


From 2005 through 2012, Couch directed the operations as Vice President of both University Commercial Center, a commercial property development and management corporation, and Premium Mortgage, Inc., a private lending institution.


After successfully packaging and selling University Commercial Center to a real estate investment trust, Couch put his expertise in transaction negotiation, business management and local real estate knowledge to work with Keller Williams Tampa Properties as a full-time Realtor®. He also directs the operation of a boutique media production company which produces promotional high definition videos for not-for-profit organizations.


T.J. Couch, Jr. is proud to presently serve in the community as Treasurer of the Life Enrichment Center, Trustee of the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, Director at the University of South Florida Foundation, Vice Chairman at the University Area Community Development Corporation, Chairman of Hillsborough County’s Historic Preservation Challenge Grant Program, Member of the Public Relations and Marketing Advisory Committee of the Moffitt Cancer Research Center, and Director of the Couch Family Foundation.


Couch is a native of Tampa and enjoys sailing, kayaking and camping in his leisure time.
