Well, he got one right . . . .

Posted in Recap, Thoughts on 27.07.09

Last night I was seated next to someone who said he was like “Cliff Claven” -the annoying mailman from “Cheers” that was always spouting “little known facts” that were inaccurate. . . . as it turns out that was just about the only accurate statement he made durning the course of the dinner party. He reagled the table with stories of bullets in flag pole finials and statuesque symbolisms.

I thought my head would explode as I held my tongue . . . but I let decorum rule the evening and did not call his babblings out into the light of truth . . . that is what blogs  are for – LOL!

P.s. When someone sends you one of those “interesting facts” emails . . . . please just read it and chuckle . . . but do not forward it w/o verifying the contents.

Personally I like to notate the false ones AND THEN forward it with the corrections . . . . but, um, that’s just how I am.
